PCFFA is opposed to H.R. 5797 and the use of the Antiquities Act to regulate fisheries. Fisheries management is best left to the scientific and stakeholder driven process defined by the Magnuson Stevens Fisheries Conservation and Management Act, and carried out by the Pacific Fishery Management Council.
